The Wadi Shab Day
One day, the famous swim, timed to the hour and costed to the rial.
If you only have one day, this is it. The exact day from my reel: out of Muscat early, the boat, the canyon, the cave, then the Tiwi coast to wind down. Every rial it costs is on the receipt at the bottom.

08:00 Leave Muscat
Route 17 east, the scenic coast road. Fuel for the whole loop is about OMR 10.
10:00 Wadi Shab
Boat across, hike the canyon 45–60 min, swim the last stretch into the waterfall cave. Give it 3 hours, it is the reason you came.
13:05 Pebble Beach, Tiwi (optional)
3 minutes down the road. Flat smooth stones, shade at the back, and the swim that resets you after the wadi.
13:25 The Romantic Cave (optional)
Right beside the beach, and only worth it when the sea is flat calm — the entrance takes a swell badly. Skip it without guilt on a rough day; the plan works without it.
13:50 Lunch at Najmat Sur
On the coast road toward Bimmah. Local lunch 1.8, tea 0.3.
15:00 Bimmah Sinkhole
Swim the sinkhole, walk the park, wind down. An hour or two.
17:00 Drive home
Back in Muscat around 19:00.
