Bimmah Sinkhole
A natural blue swimming hole right off the coast road.
A surreal limestone sinkhole filled with blue-green water, sitting in a tidy park just off the coastal highway. Steps lead right down to the water. Not a beach, a one-hour experience you stop for on the way to Wadi Shab.

How to get to Bimmah Sinkhole
- Route 17, the Muscat–Sur coast road, 1.5 hrs from Muscat.
- It's inside Hawiyat Najm Park, near Bimmah village. Free parking.
- Steps lead straight down to the water. Open 8am–8pm.
What you'll do
- Swim. Jump in. Photograph the colour, midday sun makes it glow.
- Let the little fish nibble your feet. They will.
- Then leave, it's an hour, not a day.
- Do it on the same run as Wadi Shab. They're minutes apart.
