Mutrah Souq & Corniche
Old Muscat, best at dusk.
The corniche at golden hour, then straight into the souq, frankincense, silver, textiles, and the smell of oud in every alley. It's touristy and it's still good; you just have to haggle.

How to get to Mutrah Souq & Corniche
- Muscat waterfront, 15 min from most hotels.
- Pay for parking along the corniche and walk. Go at dusk, not midday.
What you'll do
- Walk the corniche as the light goes, that's the photo.
- Then into the souq. Buy frankincense and a burner.
- Haggle: start at about half, meet in the middle.
- Eat on the water afterwards.
