Wadi Tanuf
A ruined village, a gorge, and almost nobody there.
Palm groves, turquoise pools under small waterfalls, and the bombed-out ruins of old Tanuf village at the mouth of the gorge. Half an hour from Nizwa and a fraction of the traffic.
