Wadi Mibam
The most beautiful wadi in Oman — the top of the Wadi Tiwi valley.
The crown of the Wadi Tiwi valley, up at Mibam village: fifteen minutes down from the parking to the first waterfall, then two or three pools you swim between. The last stretch of track is 4×4 only. The lower valley — the drive itself — is Wadi Tiwi's own entry.

How to get to Wadi Mibam
- Best with a guide, arranged beforehand.
- About 2 hrs from Muscat in any car, then 40 minutes of genuinely tight 4×4 track: careful driving, or let a guide drive it.
- It ends at a small village with farms all around. Be respectful, people live here.
What you'll do
- Stairs down for 15 minutes to the first waterfall, or the reverse route, the guide's call.
- A rope descent after the first waterfall, then it's a swim through the canyon.
- Big pools, high walls, and the waterfall at the end. About 45 minutes through.
