Al Bustan Beach
A mountain-framed bay ten minutes past Old Muscat.
A quiet arc of sand backed by dark rock, far calmer than its distance from town suggests. And on the right dark winter night, the shallows here glow — one of the bays where bioluminescence shows up around winter, Nov–Feb. It highly depends on the waves, the plankton, the wind, and a moonless night.
