Real mountain trails that start where the city parking ends.
Muscat is one of the few capitals where marked treks leave from the corniche: the C38 climbs from Riyam to the ridgeline above Mutrah harbour, and its sister paths (Sidab coastal, the Geotrek) thread the same bare hills. Two hours, city shoes optional, views you'd fly for.
